Healty soft ice cream

When it’s hot outside, it’s nice to chill down with some ice cream. There is only one little problem with this wonderful invention. To much ice cream is bad for you. Mainly this is a consequence of the amount of fat dairy products and sugar. But, I found a fantastic solution to this problem so no need to panic!

When I got some ripen bananas at home (or some bananas that I left out in the hot air just to get them ripen), I cut them into pieces and put them in the freezer. Then when i feel this urgent need for some lovely chocolate ice cream, I just pick them out of the freezer and put them in a blender toghter with something sweet, like honey or agave syrup, some milk or yoghurt and of course some cocao powder. After a quick mix you got this lovley ice cream, an ice cream that you can treat yourself with without feeling any guilt. How great isn’t that?

The recipe:

2 bananas cut into pieces, frozen

1/2 dl of milk or yoghurt (maybe some more if you want the ice cream to be softer)

1 tbs of honey, sugar or avage syrup (more if you like it sweeter, but try to keep the amount down to keep the ice cream as healty as possible)

3 tbs of cocao powder
