Swedish dreams

Dreams are small, delightful, crunchy cookies which will go perfect to a cup of coffee. The tricky part about is the texture, which should be frangible, but I can promise you that this recipe won’t disappoint you.

This is the basic, and original, version of the cookies. If you want a more flavorful or interesting cookie, feel free to add some spices or maybe som grated coconut. Remember to use a good quality vanilla sugar, that will do a lot for the taste.

about 40 lovely deams

100 grams of butter

1 dl of unflavored oil, like rapeseed

2 dl sugar

1 tsp of ammonium carbonate

1 1/2 tbs vanilla sugar

4 1/2 dl flour

Mix butter and suger, add the oil and whip until you got a light and fluffy texture. Blend flour, vanilla sugar and ammonium carbonate in a separate bowl. Gently mix the the two bowls together.

Make small balls out of the doug and place them on a oven tray. Flatten them just a bit and bake for about 20 minutes in 150 degrees Celsius.
